Mobility at the base of the pyramid: the first generations of Bolsa Família

The research analyzes the social mobility of the first generations of beneficiaries of the Bolsa Família Program, following their trajectories over time. The project gathers evidence of the effects of the program on different dimensions of the beneficiaries’ lives.
The ongoing studies examine the effects of the program on educational outcomes, including schooling and access to higher education, and deepen the analysis of the social mobility of these generations, considering factors such as the pandemic period and the role of conditionalities in health and education.
