Was a Commercial Manager in the Entertainment division of the film production company Conspiração Filmes. Later joined the Oil & Gas sector, where she was a Contracts Coordinator and Subcontracts Supervisor at Global Industries Brasil, and Contracts and Subcontratcts Administration Coordinator at Estaleiro Atlântico Sul.

Giovanna Ribeiro
Master’s in Economics from PUC-Rio, she also holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Ibmec/RJ. She worked as a researcher at the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results (FGV EESP Clear), was a consultant at the World Bank in Washington DC, and general coordinator at the Secretariat for Evaluation and Information Management, of the Ministry of Social Development, in addition to providing consultancy for several third sector companies. She has experience in monitoring and impact evaluation, with particular interest in issues related to economic development.

She was an IPEA fellow and worked as a researcher in Interdisciplinarity and Evidence in Educational Debate (Iede). She joined the Laboratory of Studies and Research in Social Economics (LEPES/USP), where she coordinated field research and, later on, headed the management of the projects and contracts area.
