Those born into a poor family have a 1.58% chance of completing higher education
Although access to higher education has grown in recent decades, attending university is still a distant dream for a large part of the population. The data are from the new Atlas of Social Mobility, a public platform developed by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS), in partnership with Prospera Lab. Among middle-class young people, the probability reaches 4.17%.
