This is the case of the role of the minimum wage in the social security cost, which would no longer be automatically transferred to the benefit floor, as provided for in the Constitution. This and other changes are part of the book “The Unfinished Reform — The Future of Social Security in Brazil,” recently released by two of the greatest scholars on the subject, Paulo Tafner, CEO of the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS), and Fabio Giambiagi, associate researcher at FGV/IBRE and columnist for GLOBO.
