The first step matters: how the Young Apprentice opens doors
A study produced by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS) concluded that participation in the Young Apprentice Program has a direct impact on job insertion and income throughout the participants’ career trajectory. According to the survey, there is an increase of seven to 10 percentage points in the formal employment rate, as well as an increase of 24% to 35% in income when they reach the age group between 25 and 29 years of age. The comparison was made with individuals of the same age who did not participate in the initiative and did not obtain the same results.
