Study shows that two-thirds of young people who received Bolsa Família in 2012 left the program by 2024

A survey conducted by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS) indicates that, from December 2012 to 2024, 66.5% of young people between 7 and 16 years of age who were dependent on Bolsa Família managed to leave the program. The study followed 15.5 million children and adolescents who had been receiving the benefit for 12 years.
