Save the planet? What do we really want when we stop climatic progress

Researcher Paulo Tafner, CEO of the Institute for Mobility and Social Development, proposes a reflection on this term. For him it is the people we need to save from climate extremes, not the planet:

“What matters is the effect on individuals, on people. And everything indicates that there is a certain threat to the human species. And then, it’s super relevant for us. To this extent, seeking to investigate public policy actions associated with climatic events has become a priority for us.”
