The Atlas of Social Mobility, prepared by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development, associated with Prospera Lab, shows that the advance of schooling in Brazil has not been enough to break the cycle of inequality. Among the 25% who were born into the poorest families, 48% remain in the same income range when they reach adulthood.
