Only one fifth of Bolsa Família ‘children’ continued in the program after 14 years
An unprecedented study by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development exclusively released to Folha accompanied the departure and permanence of 11,600 dependents in CadÚnico, from 2005 to 2019.
The study indicates that only 2 out of 10 dependents of Bolsa Família, or 2.373 million people, remained in homes enrolled in the program after 14 years, either as dependents or as heads of household.
