More than half of the young people left the Bolsa Família in 12 years

A survey conducted by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS) revealed that, of the 15.5 million young people aged between 7 and 16 who received Bolsa Família benefits as dependents in December 2012, 10.3 million (approximately 66.5%) managed to leave the program over the following 12 years, until 2024, demonstrating an improvement in the socioeconomic condition of these young people.
