In 12 years, 66.5% of young people managed to leave Bolsa Família
A study by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS) shows that, of the 15.5 million young people aged 7 to 16 who, in December 2012, received Bolsa Família as dependents, 10.3 million (or 66.5% of them) managed to leave the program in the following 12 years, by 2024, indicating improved socioeconomic ascension.
