Bolsa Família completes 20 years with poverty reduction and the challenge of emancipation
The stories are a vivid snapshot of a statistic already mapped in a study by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS), which tracked the reality of the “children of Bolsa Família” 14 years later.
The entity analyzed the trajectory of beneficiaries who, in 2005, were between 7 and 16 years of age and were in the social program, and in what conditions they arrived in 2019.
