With the 2021 Continuous PNAD figures, IMDS recalculates the indicators of poverty and extreme monetary poverty, analyzing the recent situation in the country. The presentation explores the panorama for the total population and discusses the evolution to regional and demographic clippings, especially in the period between 2019 and 2021. The differences between the Units of the Federation are also explored, showing the results for poverty incidence from 2019 to 2021, in addition to discussing the results of the income gap for those in poverty.
