Evaluation of the Federal Young Apprentice program
Professional learning programs are widely disseminated as a public policy for professional insertion and prevention of school dropout. However, the results are often mixed in terms of their potential to change the professional trajectory of these young people in the short term.
This study uses the RAIS/MTE database to estimate the causal impact of the Federal Young Apprentice program on wages and other labor productivity indicators of young beneficiaries of the policy.
