Teacher Training: Indicators by Territory

The “Adequacy of teacher training” scoreboard presents the indicator that
evaluates the qualification of teachers, comparing the training course and the discipline they teach in basic education. Five groups of teacher qualification are presented: Pedagogical Training, Bachelor’s Degree Only, Area Different from the one Taught, Other Training, No Higher Education.

The information is available for the period from 2013 to 2023 and can be consulted by territorial level (state and municipal), type of network (public or private), administrative dependence (municipal, state or federal), location (urban or rural), stage of teaching in basic education: early childhood education, elementary and junior high school and high school. The panel also allows the comparison of these indicators by municipality, with socioeconomic indicators and educational results.
