With the increase in jobs in Piauí, 55% of the beneficiaries have left Bolsa Família
The people of Piauí are working harder and gaining economic independence, which has allowed the reduction of dependence on social programs in Piauí. Data from the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS) reveal that 55.4% of those enrolled in the Cadastro Único, in 2005, have not depended on Bolsa Família since 2019, when they left the registry. Of the total who received the benefit, 30.1% remain in income transfer programs.
