Sustainable poverty reduction in Brazil

This will only be possible, in part, as families acquire the conditions to generate income from work. We have evidence that it is possible to do this. For example, a study published this year by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS) followed a generation of children benefited by the program and showed that most stopped depending on it in adult life, with some social mobility.
