Raquel on poverty in Pernambuco: “(PSB) prefers to invest in propaganda”

The pre-candidate for the government of Pernambuco Raquel Lyra (PSDB) commented on the state’s poverty situation according to a survey carried out by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS). Pernambuco appears as the second state with the highest poverty rate in the country, with 43.8% of the population in the situation, behind only Maranhão, which has 48.5%. The survey was released in June.
