Pandemic reduced children’s educational opportunities and widened inequality, study says

An unprecedented study shows that inequalities in educational opportunities increased in the years 2021 and 2022, especially when considering the literacy of children aged 7 and 8. The scenario is revealed in the research study of the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS), based on the calculation of the so-called Educational Opportunities Index.
