Government and institute join forces to overcome the challenge of accelerated growth in Ribas do Rio Pardo
Ribas do Rio Pardo was chosen to be part of the study that will analyze the rapid population growth of the municipality, as a result of the installation of a large enterprise in the pulp and paper sector. The actions are being developed by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS), which started the project this Wednesday (the 25th).
To assist the population, the State Government, through Segov (Secretary of State for Government and Strategic Management), signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement with IMDS. The institute has expertise in solutions for social problems based on the scientific method.
