Children of Bolsa Família: in 20 years, 64% of the beneficiaries left the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico)

The cash transfer program, which will mark its 20th anniversary in October this year, has had a significant impact on the lives of many Brazilian families. A survey by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development published in April 2022 revealed that only 1 in 5 children of the first generation of beneficiaries of the program still received Bolsa Família 14 years later.
