Bolsa Família Program celebrates 20 years of impact on poverty reduction

Throughout its 20 years of existence, the Bolsa Família Program has achieved significant success in reducing poverty and promoting education. According to data from the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS), most of the beneficiaries who left the program managed on their own to improve their living conditions, demonstrating that Bolsa Família does not create dependence, as is often argued by critics.
