André Portela
Graduated in Economics from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), master in Economics from the University of São Paulo (USP) and PhD in Economics from Cornell University. He was a doctoral professor at the University of São Paulo, an assistant professor at Vanderbilt University and a visiting professor at Cornell University. He is currently Professor of Public Policy at the São Paulo School of Economics at Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV EESP), coordinator of the Center for Applied Microeconomics (C-Micro) and director of FGV EESP Clear. He is a researcher at CNPq and works in the areas of public policy evaluation, labor market, education, and social policies.

Cecilia Machado
She holds a degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ (2002), a master's degree in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro – PUC-Rio (2005) and a PhD in Economics from Columbia University (2010). She is currently a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) and an assistant professor at Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) in Rio de Janeiro. She has experience in the field of Economics, with an emphasis on Applied Microeconomics, Labor Economics and Econometrics.

Cecilia Machado
She holds a degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ (2002), a master's degree in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro – PUC-Rio (2005) and a PhD in Economics from Columbia University (2010). Fernando Veloso

Joana Naritomi
Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science and associate researcher in the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), Institute for Fiscal Studies and International Growth Center. The main areas of research in which she works are Public Sector Economics, Public Policies and Economic Development. Joana holds a PhD in Political Economy and Government from Harvard University in 2014, a Master's in Economics from PUC-Rio in 2007 and a Bachelor of Economics from UFRJ in 2005. Between 2007 and 2008, she worked as a Consultant at the World Bank in Washington DC. She has articles published in the American Economic Review and the Journal of Economic History. Her research was mentioned by The New York Times, The Economist and Folha de São Paulo.

Joana Naritomi
Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science and associate researcher in the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), Institute for Fiscal Studies and International Growth Center. Ricardo Paes de Barros is an engineer from ITA, a master in statistics from IMPA and a doctor in Economics from the University of Chicago. He worked at IPEA for more than 30 years, dedicating himself to the themes of inequality and poverty, the labor market, and education. He was a visiting professor at Yale University, director of the Social Studies Council of IPEA, undersecretary for Strategic Actions at the Secretariat for Strategic Affairs of the Presidency of the Republic and president of the National Commission for Population and Development. He published several articles and books, receiving important awards in recognition of his work, such as the Haralambos Simeonidis, the Mario Henrique Simonsen Award and the first edition of the Celso Furtado Award in Social Studies, from the World Academy of Sciences. He was awarded the National Order of Scientific Merit and elected a full member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences. He is currently Full Professor at Insper, where he is dedicated to the use of scientific evidence to identify national challenges and formulate and evaluate public policies.
