CadÚnico records that almost half of the young people in Bolsa Família have achieved independence and left the program by 2024

Research by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS) followed 15.5 million young people who were beneficiaries of the Bolsa Família in 2012. The survey analyzed individuals aged between 7 and 16 years, at the time registered as dependents in the program. After 12 years, 48.9% of them, or 7.6 million people, have completely left the Unified Registry.
