Diagnosis of the installation of a large industrial plant in a small municipality
Parceria: Governo do Estado do Mato Grosso do Sul
Elaboration of a social and economic diagnosis containing: a) investigation of similar cases of the installation of pulp and paper mills in Brazil; b) construction of a tree of causes and c) preparation of a list of indicators for monitoring. The diagnosis concludes with suggestions for action in three fronts: improvements in workforce training programs; retooling of the government school; and design of intersectoral governance structures.
