Study shows that 7.6 million young people from CadÚnico left Bolsa Família from 2012 to 2024

A survey carried out by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS) revealed an unprecedented portrait of the social mobility of young beneficiaries of Bolsa Família. Of the 15.5 million children and adolescents between 7 and 16 years of age who received the benefit in December 2012, 10.3 million (66.5%) managed to leave the program by 2024, indicating signs of socioeconomic ascension.
