Public policies ‘consistent with time’ can solve low social mobility, says professor

The Atlas of Social Mobility, released by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development last Sunday (1st), shows that, in Brazil, only 2% of poor children reach the income of the richest 10%. The survey also shows that two-thirds of the poorest 50% remain at the same level as their parents when adults. The data show the low social mobility in Brazil.

In an interview with Conexão Record News, in the June 6 edition (Friday), Leandro Rocha, researcher at IMDS, comments on the figures.
