Inequalities in labor market recovery
An IMDS study on occupational dynamics in Brazil, with an emphasis on the post-pandemic period and shedding light on the factors that influence the permanence or loss of occupation in different segments of the population, reveals that occupational inequalities persist in Brazil. Using longitudinal data from the Continuous PNAD (PNADC), from 2017 to the first quarter of 2024, the study verifies occupational dynamics through a dual approach: descriptive analysis and risk analysis.
