In Uberlândia, more than 56,000 families live on just one minimum wage
According to the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS), a platform that proposes and implements public policies on social mobility, the value considered in the context of poverty in urban areas of the southeast region is R$309.82. For extreme poverty, the amount is R$154.91. Regarding the rural area, the rates considered are R$262.76 and R$131.38, respectively.
