In 12 years, almost half of the young people in the Bolsa Família program have achieved autonomy and left the Unified Registry, according to research

A study that followed the trajectory of 15.5 million young beneficiaries of Bolsa Família reveals that almost half (48.9%) completely left the Unified Registry by 2024. The research “Determinants of Leaving the Unified Registry: Longitudinal Evidence from the beneficiaries of the Bolsa Família in 2012″, by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS), followed young people for 12 years and identified the factors that determined the permanence or exit from the social protection network.
