Half of the young people in the Bolsa Família left the Unified Registry in 12 years
A study that followed 15.5 million young beneficiaries of the Bolsa Família program reveals that almost half (48.9%) of them left the Unified Registry (CadÚnico) entirely by 2024. The research entitled “Determinants of Leaving the Unified Registry: Longitudinal Evidence from the beneficiaries of the Bolsa Família in 2012″, carried out by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS), monitored these young people for 12 years to identify the factors that influenced the permanence or exit from the social protection network.
