Government adjusts Bolsa Família: new rules impact single-person families and income protection in 2025
While some parliamentarians argue that the adjustment will strengthen the management of the program, others fear that the measure will compromise the reach of Bolsa Família, which currently benefits about 76% of the country’s 14.3 million vulnerable rural producers, according to a study by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS).
