Curitiba is the capital with the highest social mobility index in Brazil

Curitiba is the capital with the highest rate of social mobility in Brazil. The result can be seen in the Atlas of Social Mobility Brazil, launched this Sunday (June 1) by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS). The study points out that 58.9% of Curitibans born between 1983 and 1990 in families with the lowest income in the city became adults who rose to the 50% of the population with the highest income.
