Congress enacts amendments to the state of emergency and to the nursing wage floor

Research conducted by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development reveals that more than 11 million Brazilians went into poverty last year, bringing to 47.3 million, 22.3% of the population, the number of Brazilians who were in areas of poverty or extreme poverty at the end of 2021, the highest percentage in ten years.
