Data like these had been collected for some time by research centers, such as the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS). They are part of the study “Social mobility and income transfer programs with conditionalities: the Bolsa Família Program in Brazil”, published in issue 35, of September 2024 (still in conclusion), of the journal World Development Perspectives, focused on research and the promotion of international development. Among its authors is economist and doctor in Political Science Paulo Tafner, CEO of IMDS.
