Bolsa Família completes 20 years reaching 21.45 million families

Overcoming poverty and social transformation were the foundations for the creation of Bolsa Família, which unified the payment of various benefits into a single program. Data from the Institute for Mobility and Social Development, cited by the MDS, indicate that more than 64% of children and adolescents who received Bolsa Família in 2005 left the Cadastro Único by 2019, with the insertion of this public in the formal labor market.
