The right to grow old, in Brazil, is linked to color and income privileges. White women, born between 2010 and 2019, have a life expectancy at birth of 80.06 years, while black women reach 76.01 years of age. White men, on the other hand, live, on average, 74.52 years, while black men attain 68.65 years of age, according to data from IMDS (Institute for Mobility and Social Development).
