Immobility of the poorest: a threat to the country

Only a third of Brazilians born between 1983 and 1990 in families that were among the poorest 50% managed, in adulthood, to rise to the richest half of the population. This data is from the recently launched Atlas of Social Mobility Brazil, from the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS).
