In Brazil, the chance of a son repeating his father's low level of schooling is double that of the USA

The chance that a child will repeat their family's low level of schooling in Brazil is twice as likely as that in the United States.

On average, almost 6 out of 10 Brazilians (58.3%) whose parents did not finish High School in 2014 - the last year for which data are available - also stopped studying before completing this same cycle.
