Poverty increases 12.5% in Sergipe; the highest index in the country

The Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS) carried out a survey throughout Brazil in 2021 (most recent numbers).

Folha de São Paulo published data on the 26th:

While poverty increased by 12.5% in Sergipe, the highest in the country, almost triple the national average, which was 5%, it grew by 1.3% in Santa Catarina and 1% in Mato Grosso.
