In 2004, 955.1 thousand gauchos received the Bolsa Família. Two decades later, there are already 1.1 million beneficiaries in Rio Grande do Sul, a 15.18% increase of which Simone Nunes Vieira does not take part. She is another gaucho with a trajectory of exception in the global data of the program, according to a study by the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS).
